The Company

Founded in 1906, Ideal Heating has over 100 years of experience in providing high-quality boilers to clients all over the UK.

Challenges

  • Current office print capability running on aged hardware
  • Incurring unnecessary costs in areas not covered by maintenance
  • Meet the needs of customers and staff with an all-in-one managed print service (MPS)

With a century of boiler manufacturing behind them, Ideal use their founding values of quality, innovation and values to underpin their operations as they look towards the future.

The Solution

Ideal Heating had worked with Spectrum in the past to improve its digital processes, creating an established and strong relationship between both organisations. After a thorough audit of the four sites, the solution was clear; the installation of a fleet of state-of-the-art Canon devices was the final piece of the puzzle for Ideal to fully conquer their processes. To meet the requirements of their admirable goals of waste reduction and increased efficiency for the business, Spectrum implemented a full MPS infrastructure to allow Ideal to save valuable time and money.

Management of visible and hidden costs such as power consumption, toner and paper levels and wasted prints has empowered Ideal to streamline their document workflows and optimize their printing infrastructure, so they can put their full focus into core business operations. The introduction of imageRUNNER ADVANCED MFDS and uniFLOW print management software allowed seamless integration with Ideal’s robust finance automation software, helping to increase the capability of the organisation’s output for clients. Included with Spectrum’s MPS package is a dedicated help desk, so there’s on-hand support as and when they need it.
